Max is delighted to be bringing this play to life alongside these vibrant artists. Soon entering his second decade working as an artist in New York, he’s learned that—as an actor, teacher, director, or coach—the thing he loves most is telling stories that nurture compassion.
Growing up in Cincinnati, OH, max trained from a young age at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), and later attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts for his BFA. While training at NYU, he studied at Stella Adler Studio—where he was introduced to Lucid Body Technique, the study of the emotional body through physicalizing the 7 chakras that has inspired so much of his work as an actor, director, and coach—as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, International Theatre Workshop (studying devised theatre under Kevin Kuhlke in Amsterdam), and eventually graduating from New Studio on Broadway studying musical theatre from many wonderful teachers—Kent Gash, Michele Shay, Phylicia Rashad, Dawn-Elin Fraser, Kenneth Noel Mitchell.
Since graduating, Max has worked Off-broadway, Regionally, and Toured Nationally. Some favorite credits include Last Five Years (Jamie), Hair (Claude), Midsummer (Tytania/Demetrius), Bright Star (Billy), Fun Home (Roy), Lolita My Love (Dick).
